2nd try!

Here's my second try at photo vinyl. Am learning more each time. What to choose and what to leave - mostly trial and error though so far... I'm going to get a black frame and put their names and wedding date on it - and may change the color of card stock behind the pic. This was just what I had on hand.

First Attempt at Photo tiling

Okay girls... I did a bunch of playing around with MTC today and here's my first photo tile. It's 6 inch and I had a time getting a shot without lots of glare... anyway, here's the real photo and the tile... what do you think??? Being a photography buff, I hope I can do more of this sort of thing unless it's going to take me as long as it did today - then I'll go back to basic letters, etc! LOL!!

BUCKET LISTS ANYONE?!?

So... my brother-in-law turns 50 this week and skydiving is on his bucket list. I thought this would be a fun gift - (would be even more adorable as a candy bouquet, huh?!?!) We'll see if it gets checked off the list while we are in CO together this week! :-) I wished I had done the white shadow on the front but had that part done before I thought of it... and I hadn't figured out how to do that until I got to the 'saying' side! Oh well, it's a learning process and he'll get a kick out of it nonetheless!

Easy Weed

OK girls... I FINALLY got busy with my Easy Weed iron on vinyl tonight and made a couple of personalized items for my great niece who is to make her debut next month. First attempt was a little 'iffy' but then I reset pressure and it was a breeze! I am anxious to see how it washes up for her. If it's as great as I've read, this is super slick!! This photo isn't the most clear (was much better on my computer than here) and I used white on the pink hooded towel. I might end up adding hot pink as another layer and make the white sort of a shadow... that's the neat thing, you can use this stuff and do layers - so they say. I'll let ya know if I do that!

16" tile

Here's the latest tile I've done. It's a 16" - my first this size. Wanted to do a border too but couldn't find what I was looking for so I spaced out the names a bit more than I first planned.

Pop Can Candy Bouquets

Sara had the great idea of using pop cans for our candy bouquets. What a cute idea!!

Candy Bouquets!!!

OK, so my attention span must be short!! Just got comfortable with tumblers and now on to the next craft! Candy bouquets!!

This is a hunting themed one for my friend to give her husband for his birthday. In a can coozie for him to use once the candy is gone!! See the shotgun shells!?!

Fourth of July ones ordered by our one and only John Walker!!! Sara and I CAN do it!!

This one was a hunting themed one for my dad for Fathers Day. Yep, more shotgun shells!

This one was for Chad's dad-Snickers, mints, and chocolate tootsie pops. Can't forget the Andy Griffith DVD as well!

Flower themed one with foam flowers and flower suckers hiding in it as well.

Here is one I made in a tumbler. These are neat!

A few projects

Here are some things I have done lately! Conner needed a water bottle for daycare so I bought one and put his name on it. Also, did the water bottles for teachers at Denver and delivered them yesterday. The teachers loved them! Wait until they get the tumbers next month :-)

Happy Easter Charger

These chargers that Barb found are way cool but I don't have the right colored vinyl to put on them. Guess that is just an excuse to order more!!

More 65th Anniversary stuff

Here's the bulk of the goodies for the anniversary. Everyone loved the magnets and seed packets. The Pastor asked if the magnets were from 1 Corinthians or Hallmark?!? I told him 1 Corinthians! Hallmark had nothing to do with them.

65th Anniversary tables

Here's one of the tables at the anniversary. I ended up loving the variegated carnations but didn't think of it till close to the end of making all of them, so we had some all red, some all white, some red & white and some variegated. 5 different sayings on pails. Thanks for all the great ideas and for the help! THEY LOVED IT ALL!!!!

Tumblers!!!

OK, so I have been looking at the latest craze with tumblers and thought I would try them out. We are all going to get hooked on these!! They are so easy to make. The vinyl sticks right to them and peals right off the contact paper!! Unfortunately these that I bought at Bed Bath & Beyond are cold cups only but some that I have found online are hot/cold.

Easter Subway Art Tile by Suz

Let's give this a try. I am going to try to attach a picture of my Easter subway art tile I did over the weekend since I could not find anything I fell in love with to do a charger plate. I think I need to redo the light blue since you can't see that very well. Let me know if you want the file and I would be glad to share! Suz
